Christchurch's Permanent Commemoration of the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II
Druitt Hall is available for hire by groups and individuals. We favour hire to community groups, charities and family occasions, but commercial hire is also taken in order to support the rest. When a hire is confirmed, the facility is reserved for the hirer's use as a private hire.

Times reserved by the hirer must allow both for entry and any setting up AND for closing down and final exit.
Hirers on the premises outside of the times reserved to them are liable to additional charges AND, importantly:

When booking, hirers are required to confirm having read and accepted these terms.
After 6 years of dedicated service, Sara and The Regent have had to relinquish the duties of taking bookings on our behalf.
This service has been very much appreciated by us - but times change and we are now entering a new era for bookings (see below).
We are moving our booking and billing etc services to the HallMaster system - effective from 1st January 2024. We are running this system alongside The Regent system until then.
At the latest meeting of Trustees it was decided to maintain our hire charges at 2023 levels into the new year.
The charges will be subject to a quarterly review by Trustees.
Interior painting of the windows is continuing according to available volunteer time. They work around our very full schedule of events in the hall.
Thanks to a grant from Dorset Community Foundation, vinyl flooring has been installed in the three store rooms.
There is still no news on the extension of our lease - a process which has so far extended over 2 years and 5 months and which continues to prevent us from quaifying for potential substantial grant funding.

More video and photos are slowly being added to show exterior and interior conditions from 2013 onward, recording work on the extensive improvements carried out since then.
